Enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) for login enhances the security of your account by adding a second method of authentication in addition to your login password. This increases protection against potential attacks that could compromise your account because an attacker would not only need your login email and password but also the possession of the 2FA code to log in.
Setting up two-factor authentication (2FA)
By default, when creating an Atani account, 2FA verification is configured via email. For increased security, it is recommended to set up 2FA using an external application like Google Authenticator. To do this, go to Settings > Security > 2FA and follow the steps described in the process.
This way, Atani will require the 2FA code for every login to reinforce access.
